What this paper is about
Nau mai, welcome to your second professional experience paper!

In this paper, students must demonstrate satisfactory and consistent professional development in relation to:
•the Professional Standards (evidenced through the Key Teaching Tasks and Culminating Integrative Assessment)
•the specified Learning Outcomes for this TEPRO paper
Students will explore current issues, reflect on their own experiences, and review and discuss practical scenarios to equip them for their Professional Experience 2.
How this paper will be taught
The paper will be taught through fortnightly tutorials beginning with an introductory session during the on-campus block on the Hamilton campus (17-19 July) .
Additionally, students will undertake professional experience within ECE setting 2 on the following dates:

How you will be assessed
In order to meet the requirements of TEPRO401, students will need to submit ALL required documentation by November 26.
This includes a collection of evidence garnered from the following sources:
- The e-portfolio will build on the e-Portfolio established in TEPRO400. This includes evidence of progress made towards the Key Teaching Tasks and the Culminating Integrative Assessment (CIA) which is linked to the Standards. The e-Portfolio will demonstrate this through student reflections, goal setting and artefacts of student practice. This could include photos, videos, mentor teacher reports etc.
- Professional Experience documentation that demonstrates a satisfactory level of teaching practice based on Our Code, Our Standards and the Key Teaching Tasks (KTTs,) as evidenced in the student's e-Portfolio and the Evaluative Lecturer and Mentor Teacher reports.
- The CIA assessment
The internal assessment/exam ratio (as stated in the University Calendar) is 100:0. There is no final exam.
